Admissions

Overview

When it comes to audio engineering and post production, choosing where you learn requires a personal conversation. Our Admissions Department can help you see if IAR is a good fit for you. Our admissions team consists of John Lupo, Mark Kahn, Michael Krashes, Athen White, and Danielle Martinez.

Every day, we talk to people about our program, career opportunities, job placement, housing, financial aid possibilities and student life at IAR. To increase the value of the IAR experience, we’ve also set up some transfer credit arrangements with several colleges, and we can talk to you about whether this presents an additional opportunity for you. Our goal is to help people envision IAR in the context of their career goals and, if they choose, start the enrollment process.

Request one of our brochures and it will come to you by mail with the business card of an Admissions Representative. If you live in or will be in the New York area, call in advance to make an appointment to come see us. We can be reached at 212-777-8550 or 800-544-2501 (if outside the local area). If you do live outside the Tri-State area, we will be happy to answer your questions by phone. We hope to see you soon and wish you the best in pursuing your career goals.
